Below is information for the Hilliker Heat winter swim team at our local YMCA. Please note - the season begins THIS WEEK! I apologize for the late notice but I just received the information. Please reach out to the YMCA with questions.

Dear Swim Parents,

I hope this message finds you well! As we gear up for an exciting swim season, I want to share some important information regarding practice schedules, membership changes, team costs, upcoming events, and meets.

Practice Information:

• Swim Try-It-Out Day: Join us on September 24th for a chance to see what our team is all about! This is a great opportunity for swimmers to experience practice and meet the coaches.
• Official Practices Start: Regular practices will commence on September 25th with the following schedule:
  • Ages 8 and Under: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM
  • Ages 9-12: Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Ages 13 and Up: Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM

Membership Changes: This season, we have made some adjustments to our membership structure:

• Swimmers Under 12: Must have both an Adult and Youth membership which is $46.99/month + tax.
• Swimmers Over 12: Can opt for a Teen membership which is $16.99/month + tax.

Team Costs: The following costs do not include meet fees and this seasons suits or apparel:

• Ages 8 and Under: $140
• Ages 9-12: $280
• Ages 13 and Up: $420
• High School Swimmers (Practice Only): $210
• Payment Options: For families with multiple kids on the team, we offer the option to pay for one child per month, making it easier to manage costs.

Important Reminder: You must have a membership in place before the official start of practice on September 25th. Additionally, all team costs must be paid by October 4th.

Team Suits: This year, we will be ordering our team suits through SwimOutlet. I will provide more information as our site gets updated with this year's suits and apparel.

TeamUnify and Upcoming Meets: We are working with TeamUnify again this year and are in the process of finalizing everything to start getting registered. As teams that are hosting meets are still finalizing details, I will provide more information on meets once I have the confirmed details. Keep an eye out for an email on Friday with information on TeamUnify and details on upcoming meets.

Communication: To keep everyone informed throughout the season, we will be using the app Remind for notifications. You can join by texting @hilliker24 to 81010.
