Swim Families -

Below is all of the information for tomorrow's meet. 

• Home vs Versailles
• Arrive by 7:45 - send swimmers to the bleacher to take a quick team picture at 7:55 before getting in the pool for warm up at 8 A. 
  • We will have caps available & suits that haven't been picked up yet at the computer table.
• Worker Meeting @ 8:15 by the computer table, races start at 8:30
  • We will trade workers after the 8 & under free relay (event 44) - our event numbers are different this year due to adjustments to events taking us from 86 to 78 as a league.
• Entries by Name
  
  • If a swimmer is unable to attend who is scheduled please let Coach Lewis know via Remind or Text (567-224-8681)
• Heat Sheet
  
  • You will notice some events are being combined (swam together) due to having 2 or less swimmers in a heat. 
• Worker List
  
  • We need one more official! If you know the 4 strokes, you can do it =) Here is a copy of the DQ slip used for our summer league.
• After warm ups, events will be called to the bullpen by number. It is very important that parents, older swimmers, etc. help our swimmers get to the bullpen when their number is called. Once a swimmer arrives in the bullpen, helpers will line the swimmers up so they are ready to race!
• Remember to bring googles, caps (we will have team caps available), towels, healthy snacks, warm clothes, and activities to pass the time. Between events swimmers can socialize, relax, cheer on teammates, and so on, as long as they continue to listen for their next event.
• Swimmers & families may leave when they are finished but please double check relay entries so you do not leave a relay hanging. If your family needs to leave before a swimmer is finished please find a coach and let them know so we can try to fix relays.
• HAVE FUN! Summer swim is an opportunity to learn the sport. It should be fun. We will have swimmers mess up, get disqualified, accidentally miss an event, or swim slower than they hoped but we will always find the positive and we hope parents do the same. We honestly love watching them swim!
