Swim Families -

Practice is off to a great start and we have loved meeting new swimmers and seeing all of our returning swimmers back in the pool! Ready or not our first meet is right around the corner, this Saturday at home! Any swimmer wanting to participate in the meet this Saturday needs to be registered for the meet by 8 AM Wednesday.

• How to Register: From our team website, choose meets and events, choose sign up calendar, and choose meet entry, mark the athlete as attending, and then choose any events the swimmer is interested in trying (instructions). From the swimtopia app you can also choose the meet and then choose "edit" to adjust the athlete status to attending and select events. Please know, we are limited on entries for specific events and coaches may have to make some adjustments to what each athletes swims but ALL athletes who sign up will swim!

Practice - As a reminder, we have the following practices left this week:

• Tuesday 5-6 (10 & under), 6-7 (11 & up)
• Wednesday 10-11 (10 & under), 11-12 (11 & up) **Weather looks questionable - any cancelations will be sent via email & remind
• Thursday 5-6 (10 & under), 6-7 (11 & up)

Saturday General Meet Info

• Order of Events (Changes to our league meet lineup were made this year moving us from 86 to 78 events)
• HOME (Hoffman Pool), Arrive by 7:45 AM, Warm up 8:00 AM, Races start at 9
• Please sign up to work if possible, it takes a lot of volunteers to make swim meets happen. Worker Meeting will be at 8:15 by the computer table.
• Entries and a heat sheet will be sent out later this week. 
• New families - This video does a nice job explaining the swim meet process, obviously it's not perfect since this is based off another team. Please don't hesitate to ask questions - that is what summer swim is all about!
