Swim Families -

Below you will find important information and deadlines for both our final regular meet of the season as well as championships. 

Home Meet, Saturday July 9th 

• Entries due by Wednesday, July 6th at NOON

  • If there is something your swimmer has been wanting to try now is the time! This is the last regular season meet and therefore the last time to request events - as a reminder, there are some limits to our regular season meets and at times coaches can not fulfill requests. Final entry lists will come out later this week.
• Arrive between 7:30 & 7:40 AM
• We will take a second team photo at 7:45 AM & send out a copy with results.
• Warm Up 8 AM
• Worker Meeting 8:15 AM by computer table
• Races 8:30 AM (finished by noon)

Championships Saturday, July 16th

• Championships are more limited than our other meets - we get 2 entries per individual event and 2 entries per relay event. We base these entries on times. However, we still need you to declare availability. In order to make sure the swimmers entered are able to be at Championships we ask you to sign up for the meet as "available" or not. Once sign up closes we will create entries and send them out to confirm which swimmers will be competing at champs. Even if you don't think your swimmer would qualify, if they are available and you are willing to attend champs please sign up as available. We often end up with unfilled events. Please let Coach Lewis know what questions you have about this. 
• Championship Details
  • Location - Troy Aquatic Park - 460 Staunton Rd, Troy, OH
  • Arrive by 8 AM, Warm up 8:20 AM, Races 9 AM
  • This meet is slightly longer than our other meets but should be done by 2 or 3 PM - if you can attend but know you would need to leave early make a note with your sign up. 8 and under still finish halfway through the meet.
• Declaring Championship Availability is due by Thursday, 7/7 at 11:30 PM. This deadline seems early because I have to attend a meeting with our final entries on Monday, July 11th. The sooner you take care of this the better =)
