Calling Former Swimmers!
Swim Families -
I am working to find a couple more officials for our summer team. Each meet we are required (by league rules) to provide two officials. Our league goal is to help swimmers learn proper form and we aim to keep it simple. Anyone who has swam competitively in the past or knows the four strokes (butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, and freestyle) is capable of officiating for our summer league. The more officials we have, the less time each person will need to work so please consider helping us out! There have been times in the past that coaches have been pulled to fill officiating positions which leaves our swimmers without a coach.
Below are video reminders for each stroke and a copy of our DQ slip. In keeping it simple we do not use the 15 meter mark and all strokes have only the basic components as a part of the DQ slip. After looking over this information if you are willing to serve as an official for our team this summer please reply to this email.
