Swim Families -

A few important notes about championships:

• We have to complete Championship entries by Monday, 7/15 and cannot make changes after this point (except relay swimmers) - so we need your help now.
• Entries are limited but even if you do not think a swimmer will make the cut still declare each athlete as "available" or "not available". Once I have the final list of available swimmers I can begin assigning events based on times. In our smaller age groups it is possible that all swimmers make Championships - we get two relay entries so at least 8 swimmers per age group will be entered if available. Please declare availability by Thursday, 7/11.

• Championships is a slightly longer meet because with all 6 teams from our league competing there are two heats for every event (including relays and 100's). Generally, swimmers arrive by 7:45 AM and are finished by around 3 PM. Please plan accordingly as you determine availability for the meet (8 and under still finish halfway through the meet).
• Championship shirts are available for order and the window closes Monday, 7/15 at 1 PM. The entries for Champs will be out by Saturday night. Anyone can order a championships t-shirt but if you want to wait to know who is competing you will still have time after entries are out. Championship Shirt Order Link
• As the host of Championships we have a few extra responsibilities and I am asking for parent help in organizing some of these jobs. You all were amazing with this last year and this is our last Championships to host for a while! If you are willing to help finalize plans for this large event please attend the meeting at the pool this Thursday, 7/11 at 5:30 PM. THANK YOU!
