Swim Families -

Lots of great information below regarding summer swim team and upcoming opportunities. Please pass this along to new families interested in summer swim team. Contact Coach Lewis with questions. (Note: until sign ups are complete these emails will go to last season's registered families - once sign ups are complete all emails will be directed only to those currently registered for our 2019 summer team).

Summer Swim Team

Parks & Rec Registration is now all online - Parks Registration *We encourage you to complete this registration ASAP so we can have accurate team information. 

Team Website Registration will open May 1st. This website serves as our primary communication throughout the season. In addition, all swimmers MUST sign up for each meet in which they plan to participate and can even request events! Last year was our first year with swimtopia and it was a huge success - so we truly appreciate you taking the extra step to register twice.

Practices begin June 3rd - we will offer 5 practice times per week - practice is not mandatory but for swimmers to see growth they should try to attend at least 2 practices per week.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 5-6 PM (10 & under) & 6-7 (11 & up)

Monday, Wednesday - 10-11 AM (10 & under) & 11-12 (11 & up)

Coaches:

Head Coaches - Sharon Lewis (BHS Head Coach also) and Emily Fulmer (current collegiate swimmer)

Assistants - Mitch Sweeney (also YMCA coach), & additional HS/College swimmers TBA

Suit Try-On & Parent Meeting - Thursday, May 30th 4:30 PM @ Hoffman Pool

Meet Schedule - meets are optional and parents will sign swimmers up for each meet in which they plan to attend.

Saturday, 6/15 @ Troy Warm Up 8:15 A, Races 8:30 A

Saturday, 6/22 Home vs Tipp Warm Up 8 A, Races 8:30 A

Thursday, 6/27 @ Minster Warm Up 6 PM, Races 6:30 P

Monday, 7/1 @ Botkins Warm Up 6 PM, Races 6:30 P

Saturday 7/13 Home vs Versailles Warm Up 8 AM, Races 8:30 AM

Saturday 7/20 HOME CHAMPIONSHIPS Warm up begins at 8 AM - "all day meet"

Spring Stroke Clinic

Hilliker Heat coaches are offering a stroke clinic May 21 - 23. This is a great opportunity for new swimmers to get started and for returning swimmers to get back in the water!
